Interface device, this little box when pluged into a base radio on your frequency and a desktop or laptop computer running our SiteCAST software to the internet will broadcast all radio traffic the base station receives on-line. To receive the radio trafic you can use iWalkie or Virtural Base Station software on a compatable device anywhere in the world. If you want to connect two radio systems such as if you had to radio systems in different cities you could set this gatway up at each location and then connect them via the software. What you gain is complete communications from one location to the other and vice versa. You have made a radio link that you can communicate to the other system from anywhere in the world. This is very easy to do and it is sucure ! SiteCAST offers an IP based solution to the limitations of your existing radio system. SiteCAST allows you to talk to other radios anywhere in the world, regardless of frequency differences or radio locations.
With SiteCAST you can extend the geographic range of normal two-way radio systems to anywhere there is an IP enabled device, anywhere in the world.
With SiteCAST, not only is distance overcome but so are the carriers between networks. You can create instant links to provide interoperable communications with other radio systems on any frequency. Radio systems on UHF, VHF, 800, 700, P25, Low Band, and iDEN now can all be linked together creating an interoperable network of systems.
